Kristin Green, MD

Dr. Kristin Green was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Violet, Louisiana. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Dillard University. She went on to obtain her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at LSU and its affiliated Interim Louisiana Hospital, University Medical Center, and Touro Infirmary.
Dr. Green has proudly provided compassionate Ob/Gyn care to women of varying socioeconomic backgrounds since 2007. She has endearingly displayed her experience in obstetric and gynecologic conditions, such as preconception counseling, contraception, menopause, and both low and high-risk obstetrics.
In addition to her practice, she has been active in medical research and has been a part of numerous medical committees. She has been voted as an outstanding faculty teacher by resident physicians, a top woman in medicine, and a New Orleans women’s leader.
Dr. Green is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Medical Association, and board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Green has relocated from New Orleans, Louisiana and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, researching history, planning events, traveling, making personal charcuterie boards and binge watching television series. She is the proud mother of one daughter, Kierstin, who is pursuing in education in the visual arts.
