Atlanta Women’s Obstetrics & Gynecology OB Team

Atlanta Women’s Obstetrics and Gynecology is happy to have Kristin Shipp, R.N. here to educate and assist all of our OB patients. She has been a member of our team since 2012.

Kristin is a UGA graduate and is a huge UGA fan (GO DAWGS!). She completed her Nursing degree at Emory University. She has a strong background in Labor & Delivery and is the “go-to” person for everything concerning the OB Office.

Kristin was born to be an OB nurse–her mother was an L&D nurse for more than 35 years. When Kristin became a nurse, she had the opportunity to work side-by-side with her mom. Talk about a family affair! Kristin worked as an Labor & Delivery nurse for over six years and is a excellent resource for providing patients with information on what to expect during pregnancy, labor, and delivery.

Kristin has two “fur babies,” Scarlett & Melanie. In addition to UGA football she also enjoys soccer and reading a good book.
